New Realme smartphone series in the works, expected to launch soon

Realme has teased the launch of a new series of smartphones for China. The vendor has shared a teaser of the upcoming new Realme series via its official account on micro-blogging site Weibo. This comes just days after Realme confirmed its presence at tech trade show IFA 2020 in Berlin, which is slated to start from September 3rd. As far as the teaser goes, it doesn’t reveal much except that the first phone in the series may launch with a pill-shaped punch-hole display and 5G connectivity. We also assume the rear camera setup will be inside a square-shaped module.

This new Realme series could make its global debut at IFA 2020 in Berlin. The company is teasing something brand new at IFA and it could be a high-end flagship smartphone with 5G support.
Separately, Realme is gearing up to launch the Realme C15 smartphone in Indonesia later this month. The phone comes shortly after the launch of the Realme C11 (review) in India. From what we know so far, the Realme C15 will come with a 6,000mAh battery and 18W fast charging support. It will feature a fingerprint sensor and quad cameras in a square-shaped module at the back. The display of the phone will flaunt a waterdrop notch.
