Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition will launch in India in a couple of days through an online-only event. While the former originally debuted in China back in March the special Master Edition model was launched in July. These will be the company’s flagship and premium mid-range offerings and will take on Xiaomi’s Mi 11 lineup. Since the phones were already launched, we know their complete specifications. The Realme GT ships with the Snapdragon 888 5G, 64MP triple camera, Android 11 OS, and 65W fast-charging support. Realme GT and Realme GT Master Edition India launch are on August 18th at 12:30 PM IST and the event will be live-streamed on the company’s YouTube channel, alongside the social media handles. The company is also expected to unveil its first laptop, the Realme Book Slim on the same stage.

Realme GT and GT Master Edition prices will be revealed when they launch on August 18th. The company’s CEO, Madhav Sheth mentioned the Realme GT price won’t be under Rs 30,000 considering it packs-in flagship specifications but we can certainly expect it to start around Rs 35,000. The Realme GT Master Edition price in India, however, will start from less than Rs 30,000. The phones will be available through Realme and Flipkart websites.

Realme GT 5G sports a 6.43-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with punch-hole cutout, 120Hz refresh rate, 1000nits peak brightness, and Corning Gorilla 5 protection layer. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G chipset paired with Adreno 660 GPU, up to 12GB RAM that is LPDDR5 and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. The phone boots Android 11 OS with Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box. There is a 4,500mAh battery with 65W fast-charging support.
Realme GT 5G comes with triple cameras on the back, consisting of a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. As for selfies and video chats, it has a 16MP snapper on the front. The GT Master Edition is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage. It runs on Android 11-based Realme UI 2.0 custom skin out of the box and has a 32MP Sony IMX615 snapper on the front for selfies and video calls. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC.
The Realme GT Master Edition has a triple camera setup on the back, with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. It measures 159.2×73.5×8mm and weighs 178 grams.
As for the Realme GT Master Edition Explorer, it comes with the Snapdragon 870 chipset, Adreno 650 GPU, and a slightly larger 6.5-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone comes with a 50MP Sony IMX766 primary sensor, a 16MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP macro lens. It has a bigger 4,500mAh battery that supports the same 65W fast charging. The phone comes in a 3D Vegan Leather body. The rest of the specs remain similar to the Realme GT Master Edition.
