Vivo V29e India launch confirmed; design teased in new images

Vivo is gearing up to launch the Vivo V29 series in India and the first entrant seems to be the most affordable product in the range, the Vivo V29e. The device is expected to make its global debut and will be a departure from the brand’s previous strategy, as they did not bring the Vivo V27e or V25e to the country.

Vivo V29e design and camera details

On a dedicated microsite, the Chinese company has showcased certain angles of the phone. The tagline for the phone is “The Masterpiece” and the focus seems to be on the design. Vivo is promising a “slim, sleek and light” body for the Vivo V29e which will also be available in “eye-catching colours.”

Luckily for us, we’ve already seen the renders of the phone in a leak this week. That’s not all, an exclusive from us also revealed the camera specifications and the price range of the device. The phone will come with a 50MP camera at the front, in line with the usual V-series specs. The primary camera on the other hand is a 64MP sensor with OIS. There will also be a “wedding portrait” feature for the first time in a Vivo phone.

Vivo V29e price in India (expected)

The Vivo V29e is expected to be available in 8GB RAM and two storage variants, 128GB and 256GB. The phone could start at around Rs 30,000. Based on Geekbench tests, the device is expected to house the Snapdragon 480 or Snapdragon 480+ chipset. There’s not much else known about the model at the moment.

The Vivo V29 and V29 Pro models are expected to make their debut in India after the Vivo V29e. The design of the global variant of the phone was teased in a video last month and was confirmed to be inspired by the Vivo S17 series which is exclusive to China. We could see all of these devices in the country as soon as this month.
