[Exclusive] Vivo T2 Pro model in the works, to feature MediaTek Dimensity 7200 SoC

Vivo launched the T2 5G and T2x 5G smartphones in India earlier this year in April. The company is now planning to bring a new ‘Pro’ variant in the T2 series. In comparison to the earlier models, the Pro version will be more powerful and naturally costlier too. The Vivo T2 5G and T2x 5G are both priced within Rs 21,000. 

Vivo T2 Pro in the works

• The Pro variant of the Vivo T2 series will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, according to tipster Yogesh Brar. The smartphone is also said to have scored 600,000 on the benchmarking platform, AnTuTu.
• Vivo’s sub-brand iQOO recently launched the Z7 Pro with the MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset in India. This one is a mid-range smartphone starting at Rs 23,999. The Vivo T2 Pro smartphone is also expected to fall around the same category. 
• Vivo is tipped to launch the new T2 smartphone in two variants with 8GB RAM plus 128GB and 256GB of onboard storage. 
• The smartphone is also said to launch exclusively on Flipkart.
• As for the launch details, there’s no word yet but we’re expecting it to take place soon. Vivo should start teasing the upcoming phone as well.
