Lenovo Z5 with all-screen front and 4TB storage confirmed to launch on June 5th

Lenovo’s Vice President Chang Cheng has been teasing the launch of the brand’s upcoming Z5 flagship smartphone for a while. The VP has already confirmed that the Lenovo Z5 could be the world’s first full bezel-free smartphone without a display notch, and teased that the handset will feature 45 days of standby time. Now, the company has officially announced that the Lenovo Z5 at an event in Beijing on June 5th.

On June 5th, Lenovo will be holding a press event at 2pm CST (11.30am IST) to unveil its next-gen flagship. The event’s poster and invite suggest that the brand could unveil an almost bezel-free offering at the date. The brand’s VP has already confirmed that the Lenovo Z5 will flaunt 4TB of RAM and an AI-powered dual-camera setup at the rear. With such capacity, the handset is said to be able to hold 2,000 HD movies, 1,50,000 lossless music files, and one million images.
Lenovo’s VP Cheng has also teased that the Lenovo Z5 will have “four technological breakthroughs” and “18 patented technologies”. Some of them are said to be from the UI department, where the company’s subsidiary ZUK’s user interface is expected to be relaunched with this phone. Sadly, no other details about the upcoming Lenovo flagship are available at the moment, but we can assume to be fuelled by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.
