Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Lite with dual rear cameras leaked in alleged live images

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A9 Star smartphone has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. The phone had already been spotted on the Chinese certification agency TENAA’s website earlier. Now, a few purported live images of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star have been leaked, alongside its alleged A9 Star Lite model.

The live photos suggest that the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite could feature glass rear panels along with 18.5:9 Infinity Displays. The phones are said to flaunt rear-mounted fingerprint sensors and vertically stacked primary dual-cameras placed on the upper left corner at the back.

As for the specs, the alleged Samsung Galaxy A9 Star’s TENAA listing had suggested that the phone could sport a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED full HD+ display. The device is expected to be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor, aided by 4GB of RAM. At the rear, the handset is said to sport a 24MP + 16MP camera combination, and on the front, there could be a 24-megapixel shooter. The phone is rumoured to be fuelled by a 3,700mAh battery with fast charging support, and boot Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.

There aren’t many details about the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite’s features available at the moment. However, the reports indicate that it could be an affordable variant of the A9 Star with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor. The A9 Star is said to come in Black and White hues, while the A9 Star Lite is rumoured to be available in Black, Grey and Blue colour models.

As of now, there’s no word regarding the pricing or availability of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star or Galaxy A9 Star Lite. However, since their purported live images have already been leaked, we expect an official launch is imminent.
