Earlier this month, Samsung launched its latest Galaxy J series smartphone called the Galaxy J4 (2018) in Malaysia and Pakistan. The phone arrived as an entry-level offering with a dedicated LED flash unit on the front for the selfie camera. Soon after the unveiling, the South Korean tech giant is all set to launch the Galaxy J4 (2018) in the Indian market, 91mobiles has exclusively learned from its sources.

According to our retail chain sources, the Samsung Galaxy J4 (2018) will carry a dealer price of Rs 9,699, and will have a maximum offering price of Rs 9,990. Our sources haven’t been able to confirm the exact date for the launch of the phone in India. However, since the handset’s price for the offline stores is out, we expect it to be launched in the country very soon.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Samsung Galaxy J4 (2018) offers a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display bearing a traditional aspect ratio of 16:9. The handset is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Exynos 7570 processor, aided by a Mali-T720 MP1 graphics processing unit. The phone is equipped with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

The camera department on the Galaxy J4 (2018) includes a 13-megapixel primary shooter at the rear with f/1.9 aperture and an LED flash unit. For selfies, the handset has been fitted with a 5-megapixel snapper, accompanied by f/2.2 aperture and an LED flash. The connectivity features include dual-SIM slots, 4G LTE, VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi, and GPS. A 3,000mAh battery keeps the Android Oreo-powered smartphone.
