Airtel’s new Rs 597 prepaid plan offers unlimited calling and 10GB of data for 168 days

Last month, Airtel launched its voice-only prepaid plan of Rs 299, which is intended for heavy voice calling users and offers unlimited calls for 45 days. Now, the company has introduced yet another voice calling-centric long-term validity pack that costs Rs 597. The new pack is available only for Airtel’s prepaid subscribers.
Airtel’s new Rs 597 prepaid tariff offers unlimited voice calls without any daily FUP limit for a whopping 168 days. The pack also provides 100 SMSes per day, resulting in a total of 16,800 SMSes. The plan also comes with 10GB of 3G / 4G data benefits without any limit on daily data usage. Airtel’s new plan seems to be available for select users at the moment, and might not be available in all telecom circles.
Airtel’s latest prepaid pack competes against Reliance Jio’s Rs 999 tariff and BSNL’s limited-time Eid Mubarak plan that costs Rs 786. While Jio’s pack is available for all, BSNL’s plan is only available till June 26th.
