Airtel’s Rs 149 prepaid pack now offers 2GB of data per day for 28 days

Last month, Airtel revamped its Rs 149 prepaid plan to offer 1GB of data per day for 28 days, which delivered a total of 28GB of data. Now, the country’s leading telecom operator has revised the said tariff once again and offers double data benefits as compared to earlier.
Airtel’s Rs 149 prepaid plan now offers 2GB of data per day for 28 days. In total, the pack will deliver 56GB of high-speed 4G or 3G data for a month. As with other plans from the telco, the prepaid pack also offers unlimited local and STD calls to all networks across the country, alongside free roaming. Additionally, you get 100 SMSes per day with this tariff.

By revising its Rs 149 prepaid plan, Airtel is taking on Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 pack. In comparison to 2GB data / day from the leading telecom operator, the latter’s pack offers 1.5GB of 4G data per day for 28 days, resulting in a total 42GB. Jio’s plan also provides unlimited calling and 100 SMSes per day benefits.
