Alleged renders and 360-degree video of Nokia 5.1 Plus leaked online

“The upcoming Nokia 5.1 Plus smartphone is rumoured to sport a notch above the screen, just like the Nokia X6”

Last month, Nokia unveiled the X6 as its first smartphone to sport a notch above the screen. The handset arrived as a mid-range offering with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. Now it appears that the company is working on yet another notch-bearing budget smartphone, which is allegedly dubbed the Nokia 5.1 Plus. Popular gadget tipster @OnLeaks, in collaboration with TigerMobiles, has released the purported renders and a 360-degree video of the Nokia 5.1 Plus ahead of an official announcement.

The CAD renders suggest that the Nokia 5.1 Plus could sport a bigger notch above the screen as compared to the Nokia X6. The phone will have slim bezels with the Nokia logo located on the chin and the rear panel. On the back, the Nokia 5.1 Plus is expected to offer a design similar to the Nokia X6 with a dual primary camera setup and a fingerprint sensor. The source also suggests that the handset will feature a rough dimension of 149.5 x 71.9 x 8mm and a display size of about 5.7-inches.

Furthermore, the leaked images and video suggest that the Nokia 5.1 Plus will feature a USB Type-C port and a speaker at the bottom. Sadly, the source hasn’t revealed any other specifications of the upcoming Nokia smartphone at the moment.

As for the new Nokia X6, the phone is expected to be available in the global markets in the near future. The handset is available in China at the starting price of around Rs 14,000.
