Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL’s CAD-based 5K renders and 360-degree video leaked

“The leaked renders suggest that only the Google Pixel 3 XL will be arriving with a display notch”

Google is expected to unveil its next-gen Pixel smartphones at some point in October this year. If the reports are to be believed, the Mountain View tech giant will be releasing three Pixel smartphones this year including the Google Pixel 3Pixel 3 XL, and an affordable Pixel 3 variant. Ahead of the unveiling, we have already seen a purported case render of the Pixel 3 XL. Now, the popular gadget tipster Steve H. aka @OnLeaks has released CAD-based 3D and 5K renders, as well as the 360-degree videos of the upcoming Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL in collaboration with MySmartPrice.

Talking about the Google Pixel 3’s design first, the leaked renders and 360-degree video suggests that the phone could feature an 18:09 display. It seems that the next-gen Pixel will continue to feature a single primary camera setup at the rear. However, on the front, the handset could offer a dual selfie camera setup. The device’s power and volume rocker seem to be placed on the right side, while the fingerprint sensor is placed at the rear. The images also suggest that the phone could feature a stereo speaker at the bottom bezel.

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL CAD renders

The Google Pixel 3 XL’s renders suggest that Google will be embracing the display notch this year, just like every other Android OEM on the market. The phone’s renders suggest that the Pixel 3 XL will sport a slim notch above the screen, which will be home to the two selfie cameras, an ambient sensor, and the earpiece. The rear design of the Pixel 3 XL appears to be similar to the Pixel 3.

As per the tipster, the Google Pixel 3 will measure 145.6 x 68.2 x 7.9mm, while the Pixel 3 XL will measure 158 x 76.6 x 7.9mm. Both the handsets are said to measure 8.6mm around the waist, excluding the rear camera bump. The Pixel 3 is said to offer a 5.4-inch display, while the Pixel 3 XL is rumoured to arrive with a bigger 6.2-inch screen.

According to the earlier reports, the Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will be arriving with the top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. They are also expected to boot Android P out of the box. The rumour mill should leak more details about the upcoming Pixels in the near future, so stay tuned.
