The Chinese smartphone maker, Coolpad launched the Dazen 1 (review) and Dazen X7 (first impressions) a few years back in India. It now seems that the Dazen is making a comeback as it’s being re-introduced in the subcontinent by Lephone. Dubbed the Dazen 6A, the smartphone has been priced in the affordable segment. The newest handset comes with an 18:9 display and dual cameras on the rear panel.

The Dazen 6A ships with a 5.7-inch display with HD+ resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and a layer of 2.5D curved glass on top. As for the performance, the phone gets a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737H processor coupled with 3GB RAM. There is 32GB native storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card. In the imaging department, the 6A comes with 13-megapixel + 0.3-megapixel rear cameras with a dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter. Lastly, the phone boots Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box and is powered by a 3,000mAh battery. There’s a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as face unlock for security purposes.
