Mystery nubia flagship with dual displays and dual cameras spotted in leaked renders

“The mysterious smartphone is speculated to be the nubia Z18 that’s rumoured to come with Full Screen 3.0 design”

The Chinese handset maker, nubia is working on its next flagship called the Z18. The handset was recently spotted in a number of hands-on images, revealing an Essential-style circular notch on top of the display. Now, it turns out that the brand is allegedly working on not one but two flagship smartphones. A set of new images have popped up on the internet, showing a mystery nubia flagship with an impressive screen-to-body ratio and dual displays.

However, before we proceed further, bear in mind these images looks sketchy and hence should be taken with a pinch of salt. In the pictures, we can see the nubia smartphone with very high screen-to-body ratio and negligible bezels around it. The top bezel of the smartphone can be seen housing the earpiece, however, the front camera is not visible. Strangely enough, there’s also no hint of any sort of motorised camera setup either, as we have seen on the Vivo NEX S (first impressions). Further, there’s no fingerprint scanner on the front or rear panel, instead the renders suggest that the smartphone might have fingerprint scanner at one of the sides.

Moving on to the rear, we can spot the dual-camera array and two dual-tone LED flash modules in the top left corner. However, what’s even more interesting is the presence of an analog clock dial on the rear panel. This hints at the possibility of dual screens on the alleged smartphone, with the one at the back being an E-Ink display, similar to the YotaPhone. We can also see the USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack and loudspeaker grille on the bottom edge. However, nothing else is known about the upcoming smartphone as of now.

We will bring you more updates of nubia’s forthcoming flagship as and when they emerge, so stay tuned.
