Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to go official at Galaxy Unpacked event on August 9th

Samsung has finally announced that it will be unveiling its next-gen Galaxy Note series flagship, allegedly dubbed the Galaxy Note 9, at an event on August 9th. The company hasn’t revealed where the event will take place. However, the brand has announced that live streaming of the event will be available on its website.
Samsung has also released a teaser video for its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The video shows off an S Pen, which suggests that the Galaxy Note 9 could come with an improved version of the brand’s proprietary stylus. Unlike last year, the Korean tech giant hasn’t revealed what users can expect from the upcoming Galaxy Note in terms of specifications.

As per the rumour mill, the Samsung Galaxy Note 9 could come with the brand’s digital assistant Bixby 2.0, which is said to deliver an improved response time. The flagship is expected to come with a QHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18.5:9. The handset is tipped to arrive in two SoC variants – one with a Snapdragon 845 and one with an Exynos 9810. The other leaked specifications include 6GB of RAM, 256GB and 512GB storage variants, and a 4,000mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 9 is rumoured to come in black, blue, grey, lavender, and brown colour variants. Unfortunately, there’s no word regarding the pricing and availability details of the upcoming Galaxy Note at the moment.
