Sony Xperia XZ3’s alleged live images leaked, tipped to sport a dual rear camera
“The leaked photos also suggest that the Xperia XZ3 could sport a nearly bezel-free 18:9 display”
It has barely been four months since Sony unveiled the Xperia XZ2 (first impressions) flagship, and rumours regarding its successor have already started popping up on the web. Earlier this month, the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ3 flagship’s purported specifications sheet surfaced on the interweb. Now, a handful of alleged live images of the Sony Xperia XZ3 smartphone have been leaked online, which have revealed a few details regarding the handset’s design.
As seen in the leaked photos, the upcoming Sony Xperia XZ3 could sport a taller display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. However, the front of the handset appears to be surrounded by thicker bezels, which are fairly thick by 2018 standards. The bottom part of the device isn’t visible in the photos, but we can expect it to sport a stereo speaker for an immersive media experience.
Talking about the back, the leaked images suggest that the Sony Xperia XZ3 will be featuring a dual primary camera setup. The handset could come with the same dual-camera configuration as the Xperia XZ2 Premium. The device also appears to offer a curve back panel, just like its predecessor. Notably, the images indicate that the fingerprint sensor of the phone will be placed too close to the rear camera sensors, which seems a bit odd to us.
If the rumour mill is to be believed, Sony is expected to launch the Xperia XZ3 at an event at IFA 2018 in Berlin in early September this year. So stay tuned to 91mobiles for regular updates about the upcoming Sony flagship.
