Xiaomi Mi Max 3 alleged spec sheet leaked, reveals 6.99-inch display and Snapdragon 710

Xiaomi’s upcoming mid-range phablet, Mi Max 3 has recently been doing rounds of the Internet through a number of leaks and reports. The smartphone was recently spotted on the certification website 3C, hinting at the imminent launch of the smartphone in China. Now, what looks like the alleged spec sheet of the upcoming phablet has been spotted on the Chinese social media platform, Weibo leaving nothing to the imagination.
The latest leak reveals that the Mi Max 3 will come with a massive 6.99-inch LCD display. The display will come flaunting the taller 18:9 aspect ratio and will bear full HD+ resolution. In the performance department, the smartphone is expected to be the second from the brand to come with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset. Notably, the Xiaomi Mi 8 SE was the first smartphone to be launched with the said processor. The recent leak reveals that the handset will be offered in two RAM variants – 4GB and 6GB, without a mention of storage. However, previous leaks suggested that the smartphone will be launched in 3GB + 64GB and 4GB + 128GB variant, so we suggest taking this bit with a pinch of salt.
Moving on the optics department, the new leak hints that the Mi Max 3 will come with a dual camera module on the rear panel with the primary camera being a 20-megapixel Sony IMX63 unit. There is no word on the secondary camera on the rear panel as well as the selfie camera of the handset. As for the software, the Mi Max 3 is expected to come with MIUI 10 interface based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Lastly, the leak reveals that the smartphone will get a massive 5,500mAh battery under the hood with support for Quick Charge 3.0.
While there is no word on the pricing of the handset, the leak suggests that Xiaomi will launch it in the month of July. We will bring you more updates as and when they emerge, so stay tuned.
