Airtel offers additional data benefits on its Rs 799 and Rs 1,199 myPlan Infinity postpaid plans

Telecom operators, these days, are winning the heart of their users by following the philosophy of “the more the merrier”, especially when it comes to the data. Taking arch-rival Reliance Jio head on, Bharti Airtel has revised a couple of its postpaid packs for the second time within just a month. Falling under the company’s myPlan Infinity postpaid plans, the Rs 799 and 1,999 packs now offer 40GB and 30GB of additional data. 

Airtel’s Rs 1,199 tariff earlier offered 90GB of data, which now has been lifted to 120GB, whereas the Rs 799 pack offers its users 100GB data — up from 60GB it used to provide earlier. Both schemes also come with data rollover facility of up to 500GB. The plans are also entitled to free add-on connections — a key highlight of Airtel’s postpaid plans. With the add-on connection, a user can avail the same benefits on up to three to four additional postpaid numbers without any extra charges.

Other complementary benefits with the plan include unlimited voice calls, 100 free SMSes per day, and free Amazon Prime subscription for an year. Apart from this, Airtel has also revised its Rs 499 with 75GB and Rs 649 with 90GB data benefits. The new plans will be active on your postpaid plan from the next billing cycle.

In contrast, Vodafone has only one Red postpaid plan available for Rs 1,299. The pack offers 100GB data with rollover facility, unlimited calls, 100SMSes per day, and other complementary benefits. It also includes add-on connections, but unlike Airtel, that comes at an additional cost.
