Alleged Xiaomi Mi Note 4 gets 3C certification with fast charging

Xiaomi’s Mi Note 4 has been doing rounds of the Internet for a while now and is expected to arrive in August. The smartphone was recently spotted on the Chinese certification website TENAA and it was revealed that the smartphone might come with a transparent back panel like the one seen on the Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition. Now, the smartphone has been spotted on the website of 3C certification agency in China.

While the latest listing of the handset doesn’t reveal anything of substance about the handset, it does mention that the smartphone will come with a fast charger. However, the previous TENAA leak of the handset gave us an insight into how the smartphone might look. The upcoming handset is expected to come with a transparent rear panel and display notch as seen on the Mi 8 series launched earlier. The TENAA listing too didn’t reveal the spec sheet of the handset.

According to the rumours, the smartphone is expected to come with an octa-core 10nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor ticking at its core. If this is true, the smartphone will become the second from the brand to come with the latest chipset after the Mi 8 SE (in pictures). Further, the rumours suggest that the upcoming handset will feature an Always-ON OLED display and boot Android 8.1 Oreo. According to an earlier report, the smartphone is expected to come powered by a 3,100mAh battery. However, nothing else is known about the Mi Note 4 at this point.
