Huawei Nova 3, Nova 3i with GPU turbo technology coming to India on July 26

Huawei has confirmed the launch of its Nova-series phones in India. The Chinese phone maker has shared a teaser on Amazon.in which reads “Huawei Nova Coming 4 U” with the date 26th July 2018 written below. Although the page didn’t reveal the name of the phone, it is expected to be the same Nova 3 that was announced a few days back in China.

The launch details were also shared on Huawei India Twitter handle where it said, “Get ready to fourfold your creativity in more ways than one. The new Nova is #Coming4You!” The emphasis on the number 4 reveals that a smartphone with four cameras is coming to India, which further points towards the Nova 3.

Meanwhile, some reports claim that Huawei could launch an unannounced Nova 3i alongside the Nova 3 on the same day. The information about the Nova 3i is very scarce right now. However, both phones are said to come with Honor’s GPU Turbo technology for a better gaming experience.

As for the Nova 3, the phone in China comes with 6.3-inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and an iPhone X-like notch on top. It employs an octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 970 SoC, paired with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB inbuilt storage under the hood.

The dual-SIM Nova 2 runs EMUI 8.2 based on top of Android 8.1 Oreo and is fueled by 3750mAh battery. Other notable features of the phone include 16MP+2MP rear camera sensors, AI-backed 24MP+2MP front camera sensors, 3D Qmoji feature (an animated emoji of yourself), and a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel.

Huawei hasn’t spilt the beans over Nova 3’s pricing, but looking at the specs, it is likely to be a mid-range phone placed next to Honor 10, Asus Zenfone 5z, and OnePlus 6.
