iVOOMi i2 Lite with 5.45-inch HD+ display and dual rear cameras launched for Rs 6,499

Earlier this year in May, iVOOMi launched the iVOOMi i2 (first impressions) smartphone, which features an 18:9 display and dual primary cameras at a competitive price tag of Rs 7,499. Today, the company has launched the successor to the phone called the iVOOMi i2 Lite. Similar to its predecessor, the iVOOMi i2 Lite also features a taller screen and comes with a pair of cameras at the rear.

The iVOOMi i2 Lite sports a 5.45-inch InCell Full View display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and a resolution of 1,440 x 720 pixels. The phone boots Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, and comes with face unlock capabilities. Powering the handset is a 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor, aided by 2GB of RAM. The storage capacity on board is 16GB, which can be further increased up to 128GB by inserting a microSD card.

Coming to the cameras, the i2 Lite gets a 13-megapixel primary shooter at the rear, aided by a 5-megapixel secondary snapper. The handset features Sony sensors with 5P Largan lens and an LED flash. For selfies, there’s an 8-megapixel snapper with 4P lens and a dedicated selfie-flash unit. The connectivity options include dual-SIM slots, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. A 4,000mAh battery with USB OTG support keeps the whole show running.

As for the pricing, the iVOOMi i2 Lite has been priced attractively at Rs 6,499. The phone has already gone on sale exclusively on Flipkart and is available in three colour options – Mars Red, Saturn Gold, or Mercury Black.
