[Exclusive] OPPO A16K renders, specifications revealed: 6.52-inch display, 4230mAh battery, and more
OPPO is readying a new budget offering, dubbed as the OPPO A16K. It will come as an offshoot to the standard OPPO A16. Now, 91mobiles exclusively brings you the OPPO A16K renders and key specifications, courtesy of industry sources. The renders show off the rear design of the phone in three different colours – Blue, White, and Black. The specifications reiterate the fact that the OPPO A16K is indeed a budget offering and should cost around Rs 10,000 post its launch. The handset has a single camera on the back placed in a square module.
OPPO A16K design
The OPPO A16K is a budget phone by all means. It seems to have a polycarbonate build with round edges. As said, it has a single rear camera along with an LED flash and a dummy cutout with AI text engraved. The volume rocker and power button are on the right edge. Unfortunately, the front design is under wraps, for now, it will have a waterdrop notch and sizeable bezels. There is no rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, meaning customers will have to rely on patter/pin-based authentication. This doesn’t come as a surprise considering the phone is a budget offering.
OPPO A16K specifications
OPPO A16K sports a 6.52-inch HD+ display with 1,600 X 720 pixels resolution and a waterdrop notch to house the selfie snapper. It packs a 4230mAh battery with 10W standard charging support and a 5MP snapper on the front, according to our sources. The phone measures 164 X 75.4 X 7.85mm and weighs 175 grams. Moving to optics, the OPPO A16K has a single 13MP sensor paired with an LED flash. The OPPO A16K is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 SoC paired with 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB storage options. The native storage could be further expanded via a microSD card. It is likely to boot Android 11 with ColorOS 11.1 custom skin out of the box. It does have face unlock for security.
