Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 gets 3C certification ahead of the official launch

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab S4 tablet has been the subject of a number of leaks and reports lately. As per the rumour mill, the Tab S4 will be a flagship offering with top-of-the-line Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. Most recently, the slate was certified by Chinese certification agency TENAA (Telecommunication Equipment’s Network Access Management Authority). Now the tablet has received yet another certification.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 has now been certified by 3C under the model number SM-T835C, which is in line with the earlier leaks. The certification hasn’t revealed many specifications of the slate, but it does mentions that the tablet will feature TD-LTE connectivity. However, we can also expect a variant of the device with Wi-Fi only connectivity.

Just yesterday, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4’s complete specifications were leaked online. As per the source, the slate could offer a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10. The Snapdragon 845 SoC-powered offering is said to arrive with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of expandable storage. The slate will likely boot Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

The Galaxy Tab S4 is expected to come with a 13-megapixel primary shooter and an 8-megapixel secondary snapper. The connectivity options could include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 5.0. The slate will come with the S Pen stylus, and will get support for DeX dock. A 7,300mAh battery is rumoured to complete the list of the specifications of the tablet.
