Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 teaser hints at an elevating selfie camera and full-screen front

Xiaomi’s upcoming Mix series smartphone – Mi Mix 3 has been popping up on the internet for some time now. We recently saw hands-on images of the smartphone and the alleged official-looking renders of the smartphone, which hinted at the high screen-to-body ratio and a potential elevating selfie camera. Now, speculations about the camera have been seemingly confirmed by the brand in a new teaser image.
In the teaser images shared by the brand, we can see the silhouette of an all-display smartphone with what looks like the motorised selfie shooter. Notably, we have already seen the same on Vivo NEX and NEX Ultimate (first impressions). According to previous reports, Xiaomi’s elevating selfie camera will also come with an LED flash module. Further, the teaser image has the tagline, ‘The light of Mi’ without any indication towards the name of the handset. The teaser image also reveals a date – September 2018 and considering Mi Mix 2 was launched in September last year, we can assume the teaser is indeed hinting towards the Mi Mix 3.
Coming to the speculated spec sheet of the smartphone, it is expected to come with the high-end Snapdragon 845 chipset. The renders have also shown a dual camera module on the rear panel, however, the exact details of the cameras are not known at the moment. Further, the previous renders of the handset hinted that it might allegedly come with an under-display fingerprint scanner. However, all these details are mere speculations at this point and should be taken with a pinch of salt.
