Lenovo ThinkPad P1 is the brand’s slimmest and lightest professional laptop

Lenovo has expanded its range of professional laptops with the launch of the ThinkPad P1 and P72. Both are powerful laptops, and are powered by the latest 8th-gen Intel Xeon processors. The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 is being touted as the brand’s slimmest and lightest professional laptop. The notebook measures 18.4mm around the waist and tips the scale at 1.7kgs.

The Lenovo ThinkPad P1 flaunts a 15.6-inch touch-enabled 4K UHD display, and sports a carbon fibre durable design. The notebook utilises the 8th-gen Intel Xeon E-2176M processor, aided by up to NVIDIA Quadro P2000 graphic and 64GB. There’s 4TB of PCIe SSD storage. The laptop has crossed 12 military-grade testing requirements and over 200 quality checks and is capable of delivering up to 13 hours of battery life.

Talking about the ThinkPad P72, this one sports a bigger 17.3-inch 4K UHD display. The notebook is powered by up to 8th-gen Intel Xeon E-2186M six-core processor with vPro technology. The processor is further paired with up to NVIDIA Quadro P5200 16GB graphics card, 128GB of DDR4 RAM, and 6TB of storage option.

As for the pricing, the Lenovo ThinkPad P1 will be available at the starting price of $1,942, while the ThinkPad P72 will be released starting at $1,799. The laptops will go on sale by the end of the month.
