Mobiistar launches C1 Lite, C1, C2, E1 Selfie, X1 Dual phones in India; prices start at Rs 4,340

Vietnamese smartphone brand, Mobiistar debuted in the Indian market earlier this year. Back then, the brand launched the Mobiistar XQ Dual (review) and Mobiistar CQ phones in partnership with the e-tailer, Flipkart. Today, Mobiistar has gone ahead and announced five new smartphones, called C1 Lite, C1, C2, E1 Selfie, X1 Dual, in the country. All the phones will be available for sale in bricks and mortar stores from August 2nd.

Before we start with the specifications, all phones are touted to be the company’s selfie smartphones, and they sport a full view display. The battery on the Mobiistar X1 Dual, E1 Selfie, C1 and C2 is the same, i.e. 3,000mAh battery, whereas the C1 Lite houses a 2,700mAh battery.

Coming to the specifications, the Mobiistar X1 Dual is the premium handset in the lot. The major highlight of the phone is its dual 13MP + 8MP selfie camera with the secondary sensor being a 120-degree wide-angle lens. On the rear, the X1 Dual features a 13-megapixel snapper with LED flash. Other features include a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display, 1.3Ghz MediaTek 6737 chipset, 3GB of RAM, and 32GB expandable storage. The phone sports a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and boots on Android Oreo out-of-the-box.

The E1 Selfie, on the other hand, features a 13-megapixel selfie camera and a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash. The phone sports a 5.45-inch HD+ IPS display and is equipped with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage space. The company hasn’t specified the chipset and software on the phone in the press release.

As for the Mobiistar C1 and C2 phones, both sport an 8-megapixel shooter on the front, while the rear camera is a 5-megapixel and an 8-megapixel sensor, respectively. Both the phones equip a 5.34-inch FWVGA+ display, 2GB of RAM and 16GB of native storage. The chipset employed is unknown at the moment.

Lastly, the Mobiistar is a most-affordable option to pick here. For photography, the phone features a 5-megapixel selfie camera and a 5-megapixel rear camera. It has a 5.34-inch IPS display with FWVGA+ resolution, 1GB of RAM and 8GB storage space.

The new offerings from Mobiistar are available for a starting price of Rs 4,340 for the C1 Lite phone, followed by Rs 5,400 for the C1 and Rs 6,300 for the C2. The top-variants – E1 Selfie and X1 Dual – will cost Rs 8400 and Rs 10,500 respectively. The company has partnered with 600 distributors to sell the phones across the country.
