Nokia 2.1 and 5.1 launched in India alongside the Nokia 3.1’s 3GB RAM variant, prices start at Rs 6,999

Earlier this year in May, HMD Global refreshed its budget range of Android smartphones by launching the Nokia 2.1, 3.1, and 5.1. In June, the company released the Nokia 3.1 in India with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage. Now the brand has launched a new variant of the Nokia 3.1 in India alongside the Nokia 2.1 and 5.1.

Talking about the Nokia 2.1 first, the phone offers a 5.5-inch HD display and is fuelled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The SoC is backed by 1GB of RAM and gets 8GB of expandable storage. Software-wise, the handset runs Android Oreo (Go Edition). In the imaging department, the device gets an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and a 5-megapixel front shooter for selfies. The smartphone utilises a 4,000mAh battery, which is said to deliver two days worth of battery life.
As for the Nokia 3.1, the phone’s 2GB RAM + 16GB storage variants was launched in India for Rs 10,499. Now the brand has released the phone’s 3GB RAM + 64GB storage variant in the country, which costs Rs 11,999. The other specs of the handset remain the same as the earlier model. These include a 5.2-inch HD+ display, a Mediatek MT 6750 SoC, a 13MP rear camera, an 8MPfront shooter, and a 2,990mAh battery.
Coming to the Nokia 5.1, the phone offers an all-metal unibody design, which is crafted from a single block of 6000 series aluminium. The phone is equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS display with 18:9 aspect ratio, full HD+ resolution and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 layer on top. Powering the phone is a 2GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6755S processor. For RAM and storage, the 5.1 comes with 3GB of RAM and 32GB storage. The device offers a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and PDAF, and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The Android One offering runs the stock Android Oreo and comes with a 3,000mAh battery.
Let’s come to the pricing, the Nokia 2.1 has been priced at Rs 6,999, while the Nokia 3.1 and 5.1 will be available for Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively. They will be up for grabs across channels in the country.
