Sound One Boom portable Bluetooth speaker launched for Rs 2,990

Sound One, a renowned audio equipment brand, recently took to the stage to announce the launch of a new Boom wireless speaker in India. The affordable portable speaker is compatible with both Bluetooth and non-Bluetooth devices with additional Aux-in and TF card support to give you music on the go. Apart from this, the Sound One Boom speaker is water resistant and has a built-in mic for hands-free calling.

The cylindrical-shaped Sound One Boom is said to be a “lightweight” and “durable” speaker. It comes with a plastic housing with fabric material and metal finish on top. While the company hasn’t specified the IP-rating, it claims that the speaker is splashproof, dustproof, and rain proof.

Coming to the specifications, the Boom speaker offers a frequency range of 100Hz – 200KHz. It comes with Bluetooth 4.1 connectivity with an operating range of 10 meters. It comes with a built-in battery (unspecified, at the bottom), which is touted to offer 6hrs of music playing time and takes 2hrs to chargeback. 

The Sound One Boom speaker is priced in India at Rs 2,990, and as a launch offer, it’s available at Rs 1,790 for the limited time. The device carries a 1-year hardware warranty and is available for sale on Amazon and Paytm sites across the country.
