Top smartphones launched in India in July
“From the OPPO Find X to Blackberry KEY2, the month of July was pretty eventful for the Indian smartphone market in terms of launches”
In an ultra-competitive market like India, we see a ton of phones getting launched every month. However, the month of July was particularly eventful for the subcontinent as some of the most anticipated smartphones including the futuristic OPPO’s Find X and Vivo NEX found their way to our shores. We also witnessed the launch of the BlackBerry KEY2, which seems like a throwback to yesteryear’s smartphones with physical keys. If you are wondering which other smartphones caught our attention, then read on.
OPPO Find X
The Find X offered an ingenious solution to get rid of the ‘infamous’ display notch by cramming all three cameras and the face unlock module in a single sliding mechanism up top. As a result, the smartphone is able to flaunt a full-screen display and a glass slab-like design. You get a 6.42-inch 19.5:9 OLED full HD+ display up front, which results in an impressive screen-to-body ratio of 93.8 percent. Under the hood, the phone runs a 2.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, which is mated with 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB storage. Other features include 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel shooters at back, 25MP selfie camera, 3D Face Recognition, Android Oreo and a 3,730mAh battery. The smartphone has been priced at Rs 59,990 and can be picked from Flipkart and offline stores across India.

The chipset is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is expandable further by using a microSD card.
