Xiaomi’ POCOPHONE F1 leaked in all its glory via a hands-on video
“After the Mi 8 and Black shark, the POCOPHONE F1 could be another Snapdragon 845-powered smartphone from Xiaomi”
Xiaomi’s upcoming sub-brand POCO has been all over the interwebs. Earlier today, the OEM officially confirmed the name and also hinted that the phone could land in India. If so, the long-rumoured POCOPHONE F1 with the Snapdragon 845 SoC could be the first smartphone in the series. Now, the handset has surfaced on a video leak that shows it running the Antutu benchmark. It was posted online by a YouTuber named Adrain.

The 9-minute long clip shows the POCOPHONE F1 nailing a impressive score of 258,149 on the AnTuTu benchmark, which falls in line with the scores achieved by other smartphones running the high-end Qualcomm chipset. Moreover, it also gives us a peek at the phone’s design and specifications, which corroborates with previous rumours.
According to the video, the POCOPHONE F1 will come with a notch-toting FHD+ display, rumoured to measure 5.99-inches diagonally. A 4,000mAh battery is speculated to power the handset. As per earlier reports, the handset is expected to sport a liquid-cooling system, 6GB of RAM, 128GB ROM, dual 12MP + 5MP rear camera setup, 20MP selfie camera, and an IR Blaster. It could boot Android Oreo-based MIUI 10 OS out of the box.
There is no official date yet, but a tipster earlier revealed that Xiaomi could announce the POCOPHONE F1 either by mid-September or early October 2018. We’ll keep our ears on the ground to bring you latest updates, so stay tuned.
