Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro now available in India on open sale

Xiaomi launched its immensely popular Redmi Note 5 Pro (review) in India in February this year. Ever since the launch, the phone was being offered via flash sales in the country. However, now after six months of flash sales, the smartphone is finally available on open sale in India. The phone can be grabbed directly on Flipkart and Mi.com.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes in 4GB and 6GB RAM variants. The former is priced at Rs 14,999, while the latter is being offered for Rs 16,999. The phone comes in black, gold, blue, and rose gold colour variants. It’s worth mentioning that not all the colour models of the smartphone are up for grabs at the moment.

To recap the specs, the Redmi Note 5 Pro sports a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, aided by 64GB of storage. At the rear, there’s a dual 12MP + 5MP camera setup, while on the front, there’s a 20MP shooter. The handset boots Android Nougat based MIUI 9. A 4,000mAh battery completes the list of specifications.
