LG Q9 gets Bluetooth certification; could be launched soon

Multiple reports recently have indicated that LG is working on a new Q series smartphone. Allegedly dubbed the LG Q9, the upcoming smartphone’s purported specifications and a hands-on photo were leaked recently. Now, the handset has received certification from Bluetooth SIG. This means that LG could introduce the new Q series offering in the near future.

As per the certification, the LG Q9 will offer support for Bluetooth v5.0. Unfortunately, the listing hasn’t revealed anything else regarding the features of the smartphone. As per the earlier reports, the LG Q9 could offer a notch-free display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. There’s no word regarding the phone’s screen size at the moment, but it is rumoured to offer a resolution of full HD+. Software-wise, the device is said to boot Android 8.1 Oreo with the brand’s custom UI skin atop.

As far as the other specs go, the LG Q9 is rumoured to be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. The handset is said to offer 4GB of RAM, and could arrive in two storage variants – 32GB and 64GB. The device is tipped to be fuelled by a 3,550mAh battery. Sadly, there’s no word regarding the phone’s other specs and pricing details at the moment.
