At its product event in China today, Xiaomi unveiled a handful of new devices. The company launched two smartphones including the Xiaomi Mi 8 Lite and Mi 8 Pro, and an accessory called the Xiao AI Smart Alarm Clock. In addition, the manufacturer took the floor to introduce the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Youth Edition. As its name suggests, the latest offering in the segment from the brand comes as a slightly toned down variant of the 15.6-inch Xiaomi Mi Notebook.

Coming to the features, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Youth Edition comes with a metal housing, and sports a slim 19.9mm waistline. The laptop offers a 15.6-inch full HD display and boots Windows 10. The device is powered by an 8th-gen Intel Core i5 processor, aided by 8GB of RAM. The performance is further supported by an MX110 discrete graphics with 2GB of video memory. The notebook is equipped with 128GB of SSD and 1TB of HDD for storage.

As for the other features, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Youth Edition offers an independent digital keyboard. The laptop features two 3W high-power speakers for an immersive media experience. The device gets a dual-fan cooling system with a built-in dual fan and double air outlet. The connectivity features include a three-in-one card reader, Ethernet port, HDMI port, two USB 3.0 ports, and headphone jack.

Coming to the pricing, the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Youth Edition has been priced at RMB 4,599 (~Rs 48,900). The laptop will be available to buy in China at some point in the future in black and white colour variants.
