LG Gram 2019 notebook with 15-inch display appears on FCC
“LG’s Gram series offers some of the slimmest and lightest notebooks on the market”
LG is rumoured to unveil its next-gen Gram series notebooks at an event at Consumer Electronics Show in 2019. Now just a couple of weeks ahead of the expected unveiling, the South Korean tech giant’s next year’s 15-inch Gram series laptop has just been certified by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). Several model numbers of the upcoming 15-inch LG Gram have been spotted on FCC’s website. Notably, the vendor hasn’t refreshed its Gram notebook line up since last year.
FCC has certified the purported 15-inch 2019 LG Gram notebook in multiple variants 15Z990, 15ZD990, 15ZB990, 15ZG990, and LG15Z99. The FCC ID of the laptop is BEJNT-15Z990. Unfortunately, the certification hasn’t revealed anything regarding the features of the upcoming 15-inch or 15.6-inch Gram device. It’s worth mentioning, LG offers some of the slimmest and lightest laptops on the market under the Gram series. So we can expect the next-gen Gram devices will offer a similar form factor.
Notably, a 17-inch Gram laptop was also certified by FCC recently, which will be largest in the series to date. Currently, the brand offers the Gram series notebooks in three sizes 13.3-inch, 14-inch, and 15.6-inch, which are powered by 7th-gen and 8th-gen Intel Core series processors. However, we can expect the next-gen Gram models will utilise 9th-gen Intel chipsets.
We will bring you more details regarding the upcoming LG Gram series laptops as soon as anything pops up on the interwebs. So stay in touch with us for regular updates.
