OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple variant launched in India, goes on sale on November 16th

The OnePlus 6T Thunder Purple will become available to purchase in the Indian market on November 16th, the company has announced just a day after teasing the launch for the domestic market. This OnePlus 6T variant, predictably, comes with a purple paintjob and gradient design and will be available in only one configuration. Other aspects of the smartphone, including the specifications and features, are the same as that of the standard variants. It was first unveiled in China and was initially thought to be limited to just the company’s home market.

The OnePlus 6T price in India for the Thunder Purple colour option is Rs 41,999, the same as that of the Midnight Black and Mirror Black finishes. It comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The standard launch offers including the Rs 1,500 cashback on HDFC Bank credit and debit cards, Rs 500 in Amazon Kindle ebook credit, free damage protection, no-cost EMIs, and Jio cashback of Rs 5,400 and 3TB of complimentary data will available with this variant too.
It will go on sale in India on November 16th via both online and offline channels. Those purchasing the handset offline can head to OnePlus exclusive stores, Croma outlets and Reliance Digital outlets starting 11am to get their hands on the device. On the other hand, online shoppers can log on to amazon.in and OnePlus.in at 2pm to snag a unit.

The OnePlus 6T has a 6.41-inch Optic AMOLED display with full-HD+ resolution and higher screen-to-body ratio thanks to the waterdrop-style notch. It comes with an optical in-display fingerprint sensor and lacks a 3.5mm earphone jack. The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 845 SoC, with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB storage onboard. The camera hardware dual 16MP + 20MP sensors on the rear and 20MP shooter on the front are the same as that of the predecessor. However, the battery capacity is the largest yet for a OnePlus smartphone at 3,700mAh.
