Vivo has launched the Y95 affordable smartphone in the Indian market, less than two weeks after it was released in the Phillipines. The company has made the Vivo Y95 available via both online and offline channels. It is being manufactured domestically as part of the brand’s Make in India efforts at its Greater Noida facility. Key features of the Vivo Y95 include the Halo FullView notch, Snapdragon 439 SoC, dual camera setup on the back, and 4,030mAh battery.

The Vivo Y95 price in India has been set as Rs 16,990, which we had reportedly exclusively earlier this week. It will be available to purchase via Flipkart, Amazon, Paytm, Vivo e-store as well as authorised offline retail stores. Vivo Y95 sports a 6.22-inch IPS display with a resolution of HD+ (1,520 x 720 pixels) and a screen-to-body ratio of 88.6 percent. The device is powered by 1.9GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor mated with 4GB of RAM and 64GB expandable storage. The smartphone runs Android 8.1 Oreo-based FunTouchOS v4.5, a fingerprint sensor on the back, and 4,030mAh battery.
For photography, the Vivo Y95 features a setup of 13MP + 2MP sensors on the rear panel with LED flash, while on the front, it equips an impressive 20-megapixel shooter. The selfie camera is also aided by AI that is said to detect your age, gender, skin tone, skin texture, and lighting environment for enhanced results. The AR stickers are built into the camera app for you to have some fun. The handset is likely to retail in two hues: starry black and aurora red.
