Honor JAT-AL00 and JAT-TL00 smartphones with modest specifications listed on TENAA
“The device would be available in two variants namely 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 3GB RAM + 64GB storage.”
A couple of new Honor smartphones have appeared on Chinese certification site TENAA, with specifications suggesting new affordable offerings are in the works. The smartphones – with model numbers JAT-AL00 and JAT-TL00 – have identical specifications as per the TENAA listing. However, the listings do not carry any image, though we can expect them to be uploaded in the database in a few days.
Starting with the Honor JAT-AL00 model, the TENAA listing shows the smartphone will have a 6.088-inch IPS display having HD+ resolution (720 x 1,560 pixels). It is equipped with an octa-core processor of unknown make and maximum clock speed of 2.3GHz. The handset comes with 3GB of RAM as standard and will be available in two storage variants: 32GB and 64GB. It also has a microSD slot that can be expanded up to 512GB.

In optics, the Honor JAT-AL00 has been provided with a single 13-megapixel rear sensor, which is a surprise considering how prevalent dual rear cameras are these days even in the budget segment. At the front is an 8-megapixel camera. It would not feature a fingerprint scanner, so we can expect to support facial recognition technology. The smartphone runs on a 2,920mAh battery and boots the latest Android 9 Pie software. The colour variants would include gold, black, red, and blue. As for dimensions, the smartphone would measure 156.28 x 73.5 x 8mm and weigh 150 grams.
As for the Honor JAT-TL00 mode, the smartphone is identical to the JAT-AL00 but is shown to have only 64GB storage option. The rest of the specifications are exactly the same. It is not yet clear which model these smartphones could be, but we would be better positioned to make a claim in that regard once the images are uploaded to the TENAA database.
