Huawei P Smart (2019) specs leaked online, reveal teardrop notch, Kirin 710 chipset

Huawei’s P Smart is all set to launch early next year and was also recently spotted on Geekbench. A French retailer Boulanger today leaked the upcoming smartphone’s specs on its site. The product was made available for pre-order on the website, along with full specs and price. The page was taken down soon after it went live, but the damage had already been done and all information was there for the world to see.
According to the listing, the Huawei P Smart features a 6.2-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels and a teardrop notch up top. The mid-range smartphone features a Kirin 710 chipset, similar to the Huawei P smart+ which will also be launched next year. The P Smart will be available in only one memory variant, carrying 3GB of RAM and 64GB storage which is expandable via microSD card, courtesy its hybrid dual-SIM slot.
The Huawei P Smart will be available in two colour options- Gradient Blue and Black. The smartphone features a dual rear camera setup of 13MP + 2MP and an 8MP front camera. The fingerprint sensor has been placed on the rear of the Huawei P Smart. As per the listing on the retailer page, the phone will run Android 9.0 Pie out of the box and will be fuelled by a 3,400mAh battery. The smartphone will come with microUSB charging support and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The price of the Huawei P Smart, as listed on the retailer page, will be EUR 250 (~Rs 20,398) and will be available starting January 2019. Huawei is yet to put up the phone on its official website, meaning we’ll have to make do with the leaked details till then.
