Lava Z92 with notch display and Smart AI gaming mode to launch on January 28th

Lava will launch its first notch-bearing smartphone at an affordable price on January 28, 2019. The device comes with a powerful configuration and also has a Smart AI (Artificial Intelligence) gaming mode. The upcoming smartphone, dubbed as Lava Z92 will be priced at Rs. 9,999.

During the last few months, many smartphone makers have launched notch-display smartphones. But when it comes to Indian manufacturers, Lava is second in the row after Micromax, which launched its first notch-bearing device in last December. In addition, Lava will also bring another device called Lava ZX with the same kind of display.

Starting with Lava Z92’s display, it measures 6.22-inch and will have slim bezels on the sides along with a thick chin and a notch at the top of the screen. The screen will offer HD+ resolution and will be protected by Corning Gorilla Glass that will prevent it from scratches. The front-facing lens is placed on the left side of the notch. The aspect ratio of 19:9 makes the device look trendy. The device will be powered by MediaTek Helio P22 chipset featuring an octa-core processor with the clock speed of 2.0GHz. It is provided with a 3GB RAM, and runs Android v8.1 (Oreo). Lava Z92 will draw the charge from a Li-ion battery having the capacity of 3,260mAh.

Regarding optics and storage, the Lava Z92 will sport 13MP primary camera with Dual LED flash along with an 8MP frontal lens. It will come with 32GB of internal storage onboard. Besides, the body of the Lava Z92 is made of plastic and has its power keys and volume rocker on the right side. It comes with a fingerprint sensor and users can also unlock the device using its Face-unlock feature.
