POCO F1 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variant price in India permanently slashed by Rs 2,000

Xiaomi POCO F1’s 6GB + 128GB variant gets a Rs 2,000 permanent price cut in India. The handset is now available at Rs 21,999 through offline stores across the country. POCO, in a tweet, has announced that the device is available at just Rs 20,999 via Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores across the country. The new prices are already applicable everywhere and if you were planning on getting the phone, now is your chance.

The POCO F1 packs a 6.18-inch display with full HD+ (1,080 x 2,246p) resolution and standard notch to accommodate the selfie snapper. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie with MIUI 10 skin on top and is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 octa-core processor with Adreno 630 GPU. For photography, the device features a dual-rear camera setup consisting of a 12-megapixel primary and 5-megapixel secondary sensors. The front camera gets a 20-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. A 4,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support feels the phone. 

Separately, the handset has recently received MIUI 10 version 10.3.4 stable update which finally added the much-awaited Widevine L1 licence that allowed users to stream HD videos on apps such as Hotstar and Amazon Prime Video. It also added the Game Turbo mode that optimises and allocates CPU and GPU resources to improve the gameplay to offer consistent frame rates and graphics, the March security update, and more. The Game Turbo adds a new overlay menu with various options including clear RAM, record gameplay, take screenshots, toggle Wi-Fi, and switching between SIM cards. Other features include the ability to use face unlock to lock apps, 4K at 60fps video recording is now supported, as promised, and a new AI mode in the camera.
