Samsung Galaxy A10e with Exynos 7884 SoC and 2GB RAM spotted on Geekbench

Samsung’s upcoming budget phone the Galaxy A10e was spotted on the FCC website and also secured Bluetooth SIG, Wi-Fi Alliance certifications, suggesting its imminent launch. Now, ahead of the unveiling, the handset is spotted on Geekbench benchmark platform bearing model number SM-A102U. The listing further suggests the Galaxy A10e could be powered by the Exynos 7884 SoC, the same chipset found on the Galaxy A10, and 2GB RAM. It is likely to run on Android 9.0 Pie with One UI on top. 

The Samsung Galaxy A10e has scored 1163 in single core test and 3581 points in multi-core benchmark. It is quite obvious the handset would be an offshoot of the existing Galaxy A10. In the past, the Bluetooth SIG certification revealed that the handset would feature the latest Bluetooth 5.0 standard and the Wi-Fi Alliance listing suggests it would support dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac. Unfortunately, nothing else is known about the handset as of this moment. So, we will have to wait for the official launch, which might happen in a couple of weeks, to know more details. 

To recall, the Galaxy A10 comes with a 6.2-inch Infinity V display that bears HD+ resolution and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by the Exynos 7884 octa-core chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB expandable storage that is further expandable. In the camera department, the Galaxy A10 is equipped with a 13-megapixel camera at the back and 5-megapixel shooter up front for selfies. The smartphone boots One UI based on the Android 9 Pie and is powered by a 3,400mAh battery.
