Samsung Galaxy On6 with Infinity Display and face unlock launched for Rs 14,490
“The On6 is the first smartphone in Galaxy On series to come with an 18.5:9 Infinity Display”
This year, the South Korean handset maker has been bringing its signature Infinity display from flagship series to more affordable lineups. The brand has already launched the likes of Galaxy A6, Galaxy A6+ (review), Galaxy J6 (review) and Galaxy J8, that come with bezel-less displays. Now, the brand has gone ahead and launched the Galaxy On6, which also features a fascia with thinner bezels around the display panel.
Coming to the spec sheet, the Samsung Galaxy On6 ships with a 5.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a taller aspect ratio of 18.5:9 and HD+ resolution. The performance of the smartphone is driven by a 1.6GHz octa-core Exynos 7870 processor. The chipset is mated with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card. As for the security, the handset comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as the face unlock feature.
Moving on to the imaging department, the Galaxy On6 comes with 13-megapixel primary camera module on the rear panel, which is accompanied by a LED flash. For selfies and video calling, you get an 8-megapixel shooter on the front. Out of the box, the Samsung Galaxy On6 boots Android Oreo with Samsung’s own interface on top. One of the interesting features added by the brand is Chat over Video, which lets you reply to messages without leaving the video app.
The Samsung Galaxy On6 is a Flipkart-exclusive smartphone and will set you back by Rs 14,490. The handset is available in a single blue hue.
