Samsung Galaxy Note9’s alleged retail box and pricing details leaked

Samsung is all set to launch the Galaxy Note flagship at an event in New York on August 9th. Ahead of the unveiling, we have already seen a number of leaks and reports regarding the upcoming Samsung flagship. Most recently, a purported official video of the handset surfaced on the interwebs, which gave us a sneak peek at the phone’s features. Now, a Twitter user has posted an image of the Galaxy Note9’s retail box, apart from revealing the device’s storage variants and pricing details.

The Samsung Galaxy Note9’s alleged retail box is from a store in Russia. As per the retail box, the phone could offer a 6.4-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED display with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. At the rear, the handset is said to sport two 12-megapixel primary cameras with a variable aperture of f/1.5-f/2.4 and slow-mo recording support at 960fps. On the front, the device is expected to offer an 8-megapixel selfie camera with autofocus support.

The retail box further indicates that the Galaxy Note9 could offer IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. The phone is expected to boast 6GB of RAM and a 4,000mAh battery. The handset will feature the new S Pen, which will have Bluetooth connectivity and remote control functionality. Lastly, the leak reveals that the device will arrive with Samsung KNOX security suite.

The source claims that the Samsung Galaxy Note9 will be available in Russia in 128GB and 512GB storage variants. The former is said to cost around Rs 75,800, while the latter is rumoured to be available for approx. Rs 97,400. The phone is tipped to be available in three colour variants – Black, Blue, and Copper. We should have official details in a matter of days, so stay tuned.
