Vodafone launches Rs 99 prepaid plan offering unlimited calls pan India
“The plan offers unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls to all networks for 28 days”
Vodafone India recently updated its Rs 458 prepaid plan to offer 2.8GB internet 3G/4G data per day along with other benefits and validity of 84-days. The telco has now announced a new prepaid plan under its portfolio that offers uninterrupted free calling to all networks across India at just Rs 99 for the next 28-days. That means a user can make unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls for the period.

The Vodafone’s Rs 99 prepaid plan is applicable to all users in circles. However, to avail of the scheme, you have to have a Vodafone 4G SIM, 3G SIM users can’t avail the benefit. Moreover, it’s unclear, as of now, whether or not Vodafone is capping the voice calls under the tariff. The telecom operator is known to cap the voice calls to 250 minutes per day and 1000 minutes per week.
Notably, the new scheme is a voice-calling plan, hence data and SMS benefits won’t apply. For that reason, the plan loses face against its competitor where Bharti Airtel and Reliance Jio both are offering data, voice and SMS benefits with their similarly priced tariff plans.
