OnePlus 6T starts receiving OxygenOS 9.0.11 update through OTA in India

OnePlus rolled out the OxygenOS 9.0.10 for OnePlus 6T (review) users in India towards the end of the December 2018. The update brought December Security patch amidst other features to the latest offering from the brand. Now, just a couple of weeks after, OnePlus has started pushing out a brand-new OxygenOS 9.0.11 to the users in India through OTA.

Notably, the newest software update for the smartphone doesn’t bring any significant update over the last software update. The changelog of the OxygenOS 9.0.11 remains unchanged from that of the 9.0.10. The list includes improved Wi-Fi stability, face unlock and Nightscape performance, along with an update for the December Android security patch. The changelog also lists general bug fixes and improvements as part of the changelog. Since the brand has not announced the update officially on its forums, it’s being speculated that the new update could be a general bug fix for only some regions, including India.

The OnePlus 6T can be picked from Amazon in India and starts from Rs 34,999 for the base variant. The smartphone ships with a 6.41-inch full HD+ AMOLED display with an in-display fingerprint sensor. The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 SoC paired with 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 128GB/ 256GB storage option. The brand recently launched a special McLaren edition of the device (review), which is equipped with 10GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
Coming to the cameras, the OnePlus 6T flaunts a dual 16MP + 20MP sensors on the rear with LED flash and a single 20MP shooter up front. The phone comes powered by a 3,700mAh fast-charging battery with support for Dash Charging. The social McLaren Edition comes with support for 30W Warp Charging.
